FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fearless Asian Pride!

(Toronto, ON - June 23rd, 2006) A record-breaking number of Asians will be part of this year's Pride/Dyke March on Saturday and Sunday! Asian Community AIDS Services (ACAS) will join forces with other Asian groups to form the biggest Asian march party ever appear in Pride Parade!

Not to be outdone, a record-breaking number of Asian women will be moving to the rhythm of the drums & noisemakers on Saturday's Dyke March. While on Sunday, we will be marching right behind an Asian float with other Asian groups with music blasting so loud that it will send shock waves to the crowds.

This year we like to say thank you to all the volunteers of ACAS by showing how grateful we are to have them as part of our extended family. With that in mind, we are having a weekend of food and fun in the sun and celebrating who we are! We urge you to come out to join us, support us and to celebrate with us.

For more information about ACAS and our Pride weekend events, please visit our web site http://www.acas.org/english/event_pride2006.php. Have a happy Pride everyone!
