#ACASturns20: ACAS is our Home

This April, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the Toronto Police Service and former ACAS Board Chair Andre Goh, has shared with us why ACAS feels like a home to him and to so many others belonging to the diverse Asian communities. Through his career as a champion for newcomers, LGBTQ community members, and the East and Southeast Asian community, Andre has received many awards for his significant contributions to the community: the City of Toronto’s Access, Equity and Human Rights Award (2010) TRIEC Immigrant Success Award (2012) the Canadian Multicultural Council’s Outstanding Asian Canadian Awards (2013) As ACAS continue to celebrate its 20th year of community activism and service, we would also like to take this opportunity to share some new website banners representing the diverse members and communities at ACAS on our website acas.org this new fiscal year.
